Silic 15 forms a barrier to shield your skin from water, detergents, chemicals and other irritants.
Suitable for use on the skin of people with eczema and contact dermatitis.

Directions
Apply to affected skin as often as required.
Protection: Massage into skin before contact with soaps and other irritants.
Infants: Apply at napkin changes to protect the skin.
Patients in bed: Massage pressure areas 2-4 hourly to help moisturise and protect the skin.
Colostomy: Apply around stoma to help prevent skin discomfort.
Tips
Suggested applications:
- Silic 15 can be used as one of the steps to help minimise the risk of Occupational Contact Dermatitis i.e. associated with frequent hand washing.
- Can be applied to the face to help hydrate and protect the skin against irritation that can come from mask wearing.
- Can be used as part of an incontinence management plan to help reduce the risk of Incontinence Associated Dermatitis.
- Before exercise to help protect the skin against chafing.
Cautions
If irritation occurs, wash affected area and discontinue use. Avoid eyes. Do not apply to weeping skin. Store below 30°C.

Who can use Silic 15?
It is suitable for people with sensitive skin, prone to eczema or contact dermatitis, as well as for situations where the skin is exposed repeatedly to wet work, soaps, or friction/chafing.
How does Silic 15 work?
The formulation contains dimeticone and glycerin (and other emollients) which act to form a hydrating, occlusive barrier on the skin surface. This helps trap moisture (via humectants) and protect against external irritants (via occlusives).
Is Silic 15 greasy or sticky?
No — the product is non‑sticky and non‑greasy, pH balanced, free of perfume and lanolin, making it a low‑irritant choice.
When and how should I apply Silic 15?
- Apply to affected or vulnerable skin as often as required.
- For protective use: apply before contact with soaps, detergents, water or other irritants.
- For infants: apply at nappy changes to protect the skin.
- For patients in bed: massage into pressure‑areas 2‑4 hourly to moisturise & protect.
