What is Audispray used for?
Audispray is a range of ear hygiene and treatment products that help clean the ear canal, soften ear wax, prevent plug formation, relieve excess ear‑moisture and treat minor ear pain or discomfort.
It’s also used by wearable‑hearing‑aid users to help maintain ear cleanliness and device performance.
Is the spraying painful?
The bottles of the AUDISPRAY range have a gas-free diffusion system for gentle spraying. Furthermore, the nozzle has been specially designed to prevent the risk of overpressure that could lead to pain. You only experience a cool feeling, as the solution is not at body temperature.
How is it different from a home-made salt/water solution?
Unlike a home-made solution, AUDISPRAY ear hygiene products contain a purified and microbiologically controlled sea water solution and are designed so that the bottle cannot be contaminated by bacteria.
Putting water in your ear, I thought it could promote ear infections?
Audispray has an aqueous formula that will flow directly by tilting the head. In addition, thanks to our patented nozzle, only the right dose of product will be delivered, and no more. This dose being low, there is no risk of creating inflammation because of the water remaining in the ear.
The sea water in the AUDISPRAY Ear Hygiene is hypertonic. What does that mean?
A hypertonic solution is a solution that has a greater mineral salt concentration than the body has. This mineral salt content enhances the action of the sea water in separating the ear wax.
What is the difference between AUDISPRAY Adult and Ultra?
Audispray Adult aims to be used daily for ear hygiene. Its purpose is to clean the ear by dissolving the earwax present in the external auditory canal.
Audispray Ultra is intended to be used occasionally when an earwax plug has formed in the ear. Its purpose is to destroy and dissolve the earwax plug for a limited time.
What else can cause earwax plugs?
Cotton buds, earphones or hearing aids can potentially push the impurities and the earwax towards the ear canal, contributing to the formation of earwax plugs.
